Helping Central Florida is a non-profit, 501 (c) (3), organization based in Orlando, FL, dedicated to helping people with disabilities.

Disabilities come in many forms.  There are the obvious physical disabilities such as the loss of a limb or paralysis, mental disabilities such as autism and pica, hearing and vision disabilities, and other types.  According to the 2010 American Community Survey ,by the US Censur, there are 36,354,712 disabled Americans, an incredible 11.9% of the population!

Many disabled individuals are unable to pay for the equipment or other supplies that can help them live a more productive life.  Helping Central Florida provides assistance to these individuals.  No matter the reason; turned down by their insurance carrier, can’t afford the co-payment, or no insurance coverage, Helping Central Florida wants to help!
